Heidi Mandler-Huff, J.D.

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence, Willamette University College of Law.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology, The Evergreen State College.

  • Member of the Oregon State Bar Estate Planning Section

Heidi was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, coming from a family who has lived in the Pacific Northwest for four generations.

Prior to law school, Heidi worked for five years as a victim’s advocate for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Her love of collaborating with clients to achieve a goal of safety for their future, stems from this work.

Heidi is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law, where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence. During her time in law school, she discovered her love for the area of estate planning, spending a year and a half in Willamette University's specialized Trusts and Estates Clinic, providing free estate planning services to low-income Oregonians, and receiving multiple awards for her work at the Clinic.

Heidi also clerked for a firm doing public defense and family law during her final two years of law school.

After law school, Heidi went on to provide estate planning services as an attorney at multiple boutique estate planning firms, before starting Liska Law.

Heidi enjoys connecting with clients, and providing a comfortable space for them to express their estate planning needs. She particularly loves working with parents to create legal protections for minor children.

Heidi is an avid gardener in her free time, with a special love for growing heirloom tomatoes. She also enjoys kayaking, spending time with her two cats and German Shepherd puppy, reading about history, rockhounding, and volunteering in the community with her spouse.
